Well, it's finally my turn to go to army. 15 Sept 2009, 8:30am, I stepped into Pulau Tekong for the first time.. It was totally not what I expected to see.. It was really well furnished and well developed. Looked like a super big chalet to me! Haha..
Anyway, got to go register my ID and got my 11B card. It picture looks so much much better than my IC! Then, we went into the main audi and took some Oath which I cant even remember what I said.. Haha.. and we sang the National Anthem which was I was so unfamiliar to.
Soon, the journey begins! AHHH!! We got to our bunkers and I was in Ulysses Company Platoon 1 Section 4! Haha.. So much to remember.. Anyway, got to unpack my stuff and man, was it tiring.. Then, got to know my section mates.. Edwin, Logaraj, Jason, Nigel, Big Ben, Vincent, Small Ben, HeYe, FuSeng and Alan. They are really cool people and really enjoyed my whole stay there with them. Wouldn't trade my team for any other team!
Alright, then comes the shaving of hair! NOOO! My HAIR! Isn't it ironic? When I least bothered about my hair, everyone told me to style it etc. When now I finally take an interest in it, I have to shave it off! WTH!
Alrighty.. So here is what I have been doing for the past 5 days..
5:30am: Wake up
5:45am: 1st Water Parade
6:00am - 6:30am : Breakfast
6:30am - 7:45am: SLACK!
7:45am - 11:00am= either area cleaning, drills etc
11:00am - 11:30am = Lunch
11:30am - 5:00pm = either drills, lecture or slack.
5:00pm - 5:30pm = Dinner
5:30pm - 8:00pm = SLACK!
8:00pm - 9:30pm = night snack, water parade + RO
9:30pm - 10:30pm = admin time
10:30pm onwards = Lights out!
Boring right? I'm like eat sleep shit all the way! Growing OBESE!
